Ronit is a New Zealand registered Clinical Psychologist and a member of the New Zealand Psychological Society (NZPsS). She has been a registered Psychologist since 2001 and completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology at Ben-Gurion University, Israel in 2009. Ronit has nearly twenty years experience working with people who have been traumatised both emotionally and physically. This includes children and adults, individuals and families whose lives have been extremely disrupted due to traumatic and distressing events.
Ronit is well accustomed to supporting people through collaboration with their caregivers and other specialist practitioners, as part of her experience in providing an integrative therapeutic environment. Ronit’s training includes Family Therapy, Couple Therapy and Individual Therapy, in a range of modalities such as Psychodynamic and Interpersonal Therapy, CBT, Narrative Therapy, Play Therapy and Dyadic Therapy.
Ronit is highly experienced in assisting people through their crisis, the adjustment period and toward recovery which may lead to a new way of being in the world. This work can foster finding one’s optimism, hope and enjoyment of everyday life, both as an individual and with loved-ones and wider social circle.
