Sandy completed a Diploma in occupational therapy in 1990 at CIT, Wellington, a Masters of Rehabilitation at Oxford Brookes, Oxford, U.K in 2005 and a post graduate certificate in Occupational Practice at AUT in 2010. She has worked in the U.S , U.K and New Zealand with people with a range of neurological conditions such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis.
Sandy also works as a research officer in the Health and Rehabilitation research institute at AUT and a lecturer in the School of Rehabilitation and Occupation studies.
