Anne is a speech-language therapy graduate of the University of Queensland. In New Zealand she has worked in the community for the past 20 years with people (and their families/whanau) who have experienced stroke, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, motor neurone disease and Parkinson’s disease.
She has developed and presented training courses for families and others who support people with severe communication impairment. She has recently produced a video training package called “Safe and Enjoyable Mealtimes” for staff working in residential homes with people who need assistance to eat safely.
