Juliet completed a Bachelor of Health Science in Physiotherapy at AUT University in 2005 and has since then been working as a physiotherapist at Neuro Rehab Results for three days each week. She has worked with people with stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis. For the remainder of each week Juliet works as a Research Officer in the Health and Rehabilitation Research Institute at AUT University. Juliet has just completed her Masters of Philosophy (MPhil) looking at the effects of electrical stimulation of the hand on grip control and also on the brain, following a stroke.
