Kirsty MacKinnon completed her degree in Occupational Therapy in 2003, graduating from AUT University. Since graduating she spent time working in the hospital system, mainly in older adults rehabilitation. Kirsty spent some time in Kazakhstan assisting in a volunteer project setting up a rehabilitation center for children with disabilities and their families. Part of her work in Kazakhstan involved educating government departments about the importance of correct assessment and provision of wheelchairs and seating for people with disabilities.
Kirsty joined the Neuro Rehab Results team in March 2006. She enjoys working out in the community and treating people in their own environments where they live out their daily life.
Kirsty has a particular interest in wheelchairs and seating.
